    The National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering provides a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, and manufacturing. Students gain hands-on experience in modern workshops and through industrial training.

    Entry Requirements

    To be considered for admission into the ND Mechanical Engineering programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Five O'Level credits including Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry
    • JAMB UTME with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry

    Note: Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Admission is competitive and based on available slots, JAMB score, and post-UTME performance.

    The Mechanical Engineering curriculum is structured over 2 years (4 semesters), divided into four semesters. Each semester comprises a balanced mix of core courses, general studies (GST) and practicals. Total programme load is 60 credit units.
